When I saw this shirt at Top Rope Tuesday I just couldn't resist. Shipping from the States is expensive, but still: I had to own it!!! And now, after half a month, it is finally here, my "Indies" shirt!
The Shirt:
I ordered it in S, a size that usually fits me in Europe and this shirt is only slightly bigger than what I am used to from a shirt size S. It's very comfortable to wear, thick and soft fabric, not like the low quality shirts you tend to get somewhere else. The print is white and feels a bit prominent, not smooth as I would have expected. Lets see how it will survive the first machine wash. I will surely be careful since I am a bit suspicious about the print.
The motive is some kind of homage to the punk band "The Ramones", featuring the names of Brian Danielson, Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Chris Hero instead of the band members. The eagle is holding a microphone and a bat wrapped with barbed wire, sporting a "Solid Workers" lettering on the flag he holds in his beak.
The prize had been 15 $ plus shipping. All in all it was 22,50 $ for me which are roughly more than 17 €. This makes the shirt incl. shipping cheaper than many shirts over here!
The Shop:
This was my first order with Top Rope Tuesday and since I live in Europe I had to use PayPal as the method of payment. The order was placed on the 21st of August, and it got sent on the 31st of August, arriving only a few days afterwards on the 5th of September. Pretty fast for international shipping!
In general, Top Rope Tuesday is a shop that features shirts for wrestling fans (mostly WWE) that has one significant speciality: Every Tuesday (cue the name), a new shirt is revealed wich can be purchased within a week. Afterwards, the shirts will not get reprinted and wander into the Hall of Fame. Apart from the original designs and ideas, this makes these shirts really unique. If you miss a week, you have basically no chance to get the shirt. I think it is a cool idea, even though I could kick myself really hard for missing out on the "Push Cesaro" shirt!
Shipping withing the US is 2,99 $, international shipping is 7,50 $, and the shirts are always prized with 15 $, no matter if for male or female fans.
What is left for me to say is that I love... no, absolutely adore my new shirt! One thing we surely do every week from now on is check on the site to not miss out a great CM Punk design for my boyfriend or another great one for me!
