Deadline II can be roughly compared to WWE's Money in the Bank. The main focus on the show is on a tournament for the Escape to Destiny Ladder Match, a match in which six people fight for a briefcase hanging above the ring that grants them a match against whoever and whenever they want.
V.I.P vs. Adrian Severe vs. Mexx - NEW Championship Triple Threat Match
The first match of the evening was a shocker already - for several reasons.Nobody expected the very first match to be the one for the NEW Championship, a match that otherwise would have main event status! The second shock came right after Adrian Severe greeted the Austrian powerhouse Mexx in front of the ring. After a brief handshake, Mexx attacked Severe from behind, giving him a heavy beating in which he even battered him with a steel chair. Officials had to accompany Severe back into the backstage area, the Triple Threat Match turning into a one-on-one confrontation between the current champion V.I.P and the newly turned Mexx.

In the end, it was Mexx who could decide the match in his favour, V.I.P not finding the strength within himself to kick out of the cover that followed a second Spear of the Austrian brute. Thus, Mexx became the new NEW Champion!
Red Rage vs. Boombastic
Giving his in-ring debut at the NEW Hotspot, Red Rage faced Boombastic, immediately pulling the whole crowd on his side with his seemingly endless energy, technical ability, and determination to endure every punishment Boombastic would inflict on him.

Red Rage's back proves that Boombastic is not treating him lightly!
In the end, Boombastic proved to be superior to Red Rage, the red-haired wrestler falling in the 3-count after a DDT from Boombastic. And yet, the true winner, if you take the crowd reactions into consideration, was definitely Red Rage!
The Arabian Star vs. ??? - Escape To Destiny Ladder Match Qualification Match
Originally, the opponent of the flag-waving proud Arabian Hakem bin Azem Wakuur bin al-Sultan should have been the Swiss wrestler Mr. Exotic Erotic. But while the Swiss' music played, someone completely different interfered and earned himself a spot in this qualification match.People entering the Hotspot this evening had seen the man in black when they entered the arena: the man attacking the Arabian Star from behind was none other than the bouncer! After the NEW officials pulled the raging man away from the Arabian man, Alex Wright himself appeared on the stage, announcing that the unknown attacker should take Mr. Exotic Erotic's place and face bin al-Sultan.

With a Headbutt, his infamous Sandstorm, from the top rope, The Arabian Star eventually sealed the rookie's fate, earning a spot in the Escape To Destiny Ladder Match.
"Sir" Eric vs. Johann Schuster - Escape To Destiny Ladder Match Qualification Match
The next match held a surprise for the fans at the NEW Hotspot a well. Actually, "Sir" Eric was scheduled to face Drake Destroyer in this Escape To Destiny Ladder Match Qualification Match, but instead, the Significantly lighter Johann Schuster came down the ramp - much to the surprise of the NEW fans.In the end, a Drake Destroyer wasn't needed to bestow defeat on Eric, Johann Schuster being the next wrestler advancing in the tournament after hitting the NEW original with a Split-Legged Moonsault.
Amazing Hate (Scotty Saxxon & Demolition Davies w/ Amber Roxx) vs. Miguel Ramirez & Cruel Agility - Tag Team Match
Comedic relief paired with technical wrestling was what this Tag Team Match provided at the end of the first half of the show. The freshly reunited Team Amazing Hate consisting of Demolition Davies, Scotty Saxxon, and valet Amber Roxx, faced the rather mixed team of Cruel Agility and Miguel Ramirez. Right from the beginning, it was pretty obvious that fan-favourite Ramirez and Cruel Agility don't really get along - while Amazing Hate stood as strong of a unit as ever!

Miguel Ramirez & Cruel Agility
At the end of the match, Cruel Agility was nowhere to be seen anymore. Refusing to tag in after Ramirez got a heavy beating by both Davies and Saxxon, it was no wonder that he didn't managed to rise his arm again as Demolition Davies held him down for the 3-count. And yet, while there may be bad blood between the two masked wrestlers, Amazing Hate showed their respect to Ramirez who had literally taken one for the team here.
T-K-O vs. Georg "Schorschi" Gwärch - Escape To Destiny Ladder Match Qualification Match
In one of the last qualification matches for the Escape to Destiny Ladder Matches, Georg "Schorschi" Gwärch faced T-K-O, the tag team partner of Juvenile-X who won his immediate access to the ladder match at Extreme 3 already.
Schorschi proved to be an - as expected - interesting opponent for T-K-O, but in the end, it was the high flyer who advanced to join his partner in the upcoming Ladder Match.
A video message to Jessy Jade
The mood and atmosphere rarely gets better and more happy than when Jessy Jade happily skips down the ramp. But, this time, before Stefan Matern could even pose his first question at the first lady of NEW, the screen above the entrance came to live. What the NEW Hotspot witnessed for the next couple of minutes was a likewise disturbing and confusing video message from a stalker, showing his dedication to Jessy Jade and personal recordings of the young woman strolling through the park or grocery shopping. Who is this mysterious stalker? Do we all have to fear for Jessy's well-being now?Marius Al-Ani vs. Ursus - Escape To Destiny Ladder Match Qualification Match
The last qualification match of the evening took place between Marius Al-Ani and the beast from the deepest forest: Ursus. With his speed and technical superiority, Al-Ani proved to be a tough opponent for the bearded force of nature.
Marius Al-Ani
The crowd in the NXT Hotspot was behind Al-Ani, and this may have helped the smaller wrestler to finally take down Ursus with a Dropkick from the top rope, holding the almost literal bear down for the 1-2-3.
Bam vs. Felix Reiter
Before the main event of the evening could start, the participants as well as the NEW Universe crowd got a short breather when Felix Reiter and Bam faced of in the middle of the ring. The heat between the crowd and Reiter only added to the match, especially when Reiter even started to discuss with head referee Madison. After a Death Valley Driver, the big mouthed villain was crudely silenced, Bam getting the victory of this match.

Escape to Destiny 7-Man Ladder Match
Juvenile-X vs. Ca$h Cra$h vs. T-K-O vs. Marius Al-Ani vs. The Arabian Star vs. Johann Schuster vs. Adrian Severe
Six men faced each other when the match was officially started. Juvenile-X and Ca$h Cra$h had the advantage of being the fresh men in this Ladder Match since they had won their "ticket" to the Escape to Destiny Match two months ago at Extreme 3 already. Yet, the other combatants weren't less determined to get the briefcase hanging high above the ring in their hands. It was Ca$h Cra$h who brought the first ladder into the match while Juvenile-X and T-K-O cleared the scene still working together. Unfortunately, the ladder the Swiss cruiser weight chose was several inches to small to reach the desired briefcase. But throughout the match, it was Ca$h Cra$h who climbed the ladder the most, facing T-K-O, Marius Al-Ani, and Johann Schuster high above the ring.
After about five minutes, to the dismay of all six contestants, a seventh man for the match entered the ring: Adrian Severe who proved to be ready to take his chance in the Escape to Destiny Match after being taken out of the title picture in the match earlier this evening. Clearing the ring, the former NEW champion showed impressively that he deserved his spot in this match.
It was Johann Schuster who finally held the briefcase in his hands, but this didn't determine the outcome of the match! Only if a wrestler holding the briefcase would touch the arena floor with both feet, he would be announced the winner, and thus a brawl for the briefcase that was now lying in the middle of the ring broke out between the seven men.

In this match, tag team partners become opponents
Every man for himself - in a match like this, friends can only work together for a certain amount of time. To manager Walandi's big joy, it was Juvenile-X who - after a relatively short match - grabbed the briefcase and made his way out of the ring and up the ramp. All his opponents could do was watch how their colleague disappeared behind the curtain.
Before Stefan Matern could bid all of us farewell, he got interrupted by the newly-crowned champion Mexx. By not saying a single word, the new champion made his presence felt once more before Deadline II ended with some surprising and partly-controversial events.
