It was an ordeal, the first time New European Championship Wrestling hosted the so-called Snakepit event, revolving around the name giving match; a Battle Royal under Royal Rumble Rules. A sold out Hotspot and a fired up crowd showed, that Snakepit definitely passed this test!
As always, the evening was opened by Stefan Matern, who made sure that, despite the high temperatures in the arena, everyone was psyched for the event. Afterwards, he asked the two newest official members of the NEW to come to the ring: Mr. Exotic Erotic and Ca$h Cra$h who both signed contracts with the southern German company now.
But someone couldn't just let the two Swiss men celebrate. Boombastic, admittedly not the most liked guest at the NEW Hot Spot, challenged the newest roster additions to a Tag Team Match, introducing his partner "Deutschlands frechsten Frechdachs" (roughly "Germany's cheekiest rascal") Johnny Rancid. The challenge was accepted, even though Ca$h Cra$h and Mr. Exotic Erotic aren't the best of friends either.

Overall, it seemed like Ca$h Cra$h and Mr. Exotic Erotic didn't work too well together, their egos clashing again and again. In the end, Ca$h Cra$h turned against his partner and relied on the support of referee Madison to get back to the ramp.
After the match, NEW owner Alex Wright welcomed two special guests to the show: former WCW- and TNA-commentator Mike Ritter and legendary Tony St. Clair. Both men gave themselves very impressed by the NEW, the talents, and the matches so far.
Ivan Markov vs. Adrian Severe - Guest-commentator: Marius Al-Ani
This very physical and brutal match ended victorious for the man from South Tirole. Yet, the celebration didn't last long as guest-commentator Marius Al-Ani went into the ring to attack his opponent from Extreme 3.

During the match, several feuds could be carried on. Ivan Markov and Adrian Severe clashed again, as well as the two luchadores Cruel Agility and Miguel Ramirez. T-K-O, after eliminating his former tag team partner and Deadline winner Juvenile X, had been eliminated after an interruption of Walandi Tsanti.
Markus Antonius, after having been injured for over one year, made his return as entry no #02. V.I.P took place in the Battle Royal as well, eliminating Georg "Schorschi" Gwärch, only to leave the ring over the top rope again and leave the arena for good.
The last battle had been between Ivan Markov, Adrian Severe, The Arabian Star, and Scotty Saxxon. In the end, both Saxxon and the Arabian Star (who had entered the Snakepit Match as no #01!) eliminated each other, falling to the arena floor at the same time, thus being both declared the winner later on this evening.

Winner of this match was the physically superior Bhöse Tante XDream.
Taking advantage of a battered and knocked out Jessy Jade, the NEW Hot Spot finally got to see the man who had been stalking the First Woman of NEW over the past months. To everyone's surprise, Johann Schuster came out to defend the unconscious Jessy against her masked attacker. Knocked out my the mysterious man in the two-toned jacket, Schuster unfortunately landed on Jessy, making her think that he is her stalker as she finally awoke.
Demolition Davies (w. Amber Roxx) vs. Mexx - NEW World Heavyweight Championship Match

Despite Amber Roxx stepping in to save the Master of Hass, and despite two referees getting knocked out, at the end of the match it was Mexx who retained his title.
